We've heard there's been recent difficulty with getting the "Piening-Marcus Wedding" discount at the Hilton Garden Inn. If you're having trouble, please ask to be transferred to Lina. She will straighten things out.

We've also been given another accomodation recommendation. The Sisters of Saint Birgitta is an order of nuns dedicated to hospitality. They run a guest house called Vikingsborg in Darien, which is ten minutes' drive from Norwalk. The rate is $90 per night, which includes three meals a day, according to their website. This article gives a little more information.

We have finalized the group rate at the Hilton Garden Inn, Norwalk. The price is $94 a night for two queen beds or one king bed. This is a good discount off the $169 regular price. To get the discount, please let them know you are booking for the "Piening Marcus Wedding".

We have a discount rate for the nights of Thursday the 17th, Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th of May. The rates for the days preceding the wedding are $139/night. The phone number to book is 203-523-4000.

For those seeking greater affordability, there are several small (and sketchy) motels on Westport Avenue in Norwalk. For example, the Norwalk Westport Motel is one option.
